One of the most ambitious projects in hip-hop’s increasingly not-so-brief history,Illmaticdeserves every ounce of critical fawning that it’s received. Nowit’s been given the documentary treatment, in the form of a piece calledNas: Time Is Illmatic.

The 74-minute film now has a new official trailer ahead of its theater release.
